Meet Deep Blue H1

I don't know if I mentioned that my laptop finally started to fool around after a year and a few months of reliable use. After using it for two weeks for some Powerpoint presentations at work, the keyboard finally died on me even if it had a laptop fan right under it!

Since I needed to encode stuff for my work, I couldn't use the old laptop anymore (the University IT technician said I would have to plug in a keyboard to do that). Lugging a 3 kgs laptop is already suicide for a commuter like me so I had to think of better ideas. I was thinking of Sony Vaio (unrealistically, hehehe) until I found Deep Blue H1 from Blue Digital Systems. Nothing big, in fact, it's sold under many brand names and clones since it comes from only one manufacturer. 1 Gb of RAM (which makes it three times more powerful than my old one) and 40Gb of disk space. But anyway, this was something I badly needed. To sum it up, I BOUGHT IT! Now we'll see how long it will last...
