Retrospect 2009

I know it's a couple of hours before 2010 hits the calendars, but since I have this habit of avoiding the holiday rush, I'm making this now.

2009 like any other year for me, has been a bittersweet mix of ups and downs.



Work
*I got a new job assignment. I can't tell yet if I'm doing ok or not, but 2010 spell everything.
*2009's been my 3rd year in the university. Do I smell a promotion in the air? Naaaahhhhhhhhh. I'll leave it to the higher ups.
*My former BFF's working with me now. Along with it, the breaking of the ice of a three-year rift between her and me.


School
*I'm taking up my MA! Yaaay!

Relationships/Family

*I lost both grandparents (father side) this year.
*No wedding on the cards for me, yet.
*My family finally decided to forego their share of my pay, which enabled me to do so many things I wanted to do for years.
*I got a cat!
*I LOST WEIGHT.


Material Stuff

*My laptop broke down.
*Bought a netbook.
*I think I spent more on this year.

I don't think I'd have any new resolutions for 2010 except:

1.I gotta save some MONEY. Seriously.
2.Reach out more to people.
3.Be a better blogger.

So, goodbye 2009, hello 2010! I won't be welcoming you with open arms, but yes, you may come in through the door.
