It's been a long while since I've been here! So people, you all deserve an update (so you can also understand why I have been MIA for the past weeks).
* My place had national and local elections last month, and for the second time around I got to vote. But even with automated elections, there were still people who tried to sow a bit of BS (ask me if you don't know what this means)which shows how desperate they were to win.
* I went to another city for a week last month to attend a crash course on a new subject that I'll be teaching this semester. Six days is still too short a time to absorb everything, so maybe I'll be groping for a while during the first week of the term.
* I was given charge of the graduating class in my department during the enrollment. As usual, this involved scolding problem students, egging the timid ones, etc.etc.etc...
* I had been feeling unwell for a time...
That's about it. I hope I have enough time to post something substantial soon!
